Kent Alexander
Kent Alexander, an Atlanta native, became Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Emory University in January, 2000. Formerly a partner with the King & Spalding law firm, he also served for over a decade in the United States Attorney’s office in Atlanta, first as an assistant and later as the presidential appointed U. S. Attorney. He has also written and lectured extensively on numerous legal topics. Kent received his bachelor’s degree from Tufts University in 1980 and his law degree from the University of Virginia, School of Law in 1983. His current organizational board affiliations other than the Georgia Building Authority include, Hands On Atlanta, the American Jewish Committee, and Techbridge.
