Steve Fanczi has served as the Deputy Director for the Georgia Building Authority (GBA) since May, 2006. Mr. Fanczi began his career with state government in 1985 as an intern with the Department of Administrative Services. During his career at DOAS he held several leadership positions including Director of Internal Business Services, Director of Risk Management Services, and Director of the Administration Division where he was responsible for Fiscal Services, Information Technology, Customer and Employee Relations, and Facilities Management. Most recently Mr. Fanczi served as the Deputy Commissioner of DOAS.

Mr. Fanczi earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Presbyterian College and a Master of Public Administration from Georgia State University.
