Fireplace Room
The Carl E. Sanders Fireplace Room, located one block from the State Capitol inside the Capitol Education Center, was recently renovated by the Georgia Building Authority, completed in January of 2001. The facility offers a unique mix of innovation and history, with the latest equipment for beverage and food preparation and an antique wall-sized (non-functioning) fireplace to create a cozy setting for your event. Named for Georgia's former Governor Carl E. Sanders, this facility can accommodate 100 guests for a seated event and 200 for a standing reception. The Fireplace Room is used for breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, fundraisers and other meetings.
