Parking for members of Georgia General Assembly is provided in the #1 Parking Lot, located at the corner of Capitol Avenue and Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Reserved Parking spaces are issued by the Speaker of the House and the Senate. The parking office will issue a permit/decal to be attached to the front windshield of the vehicle behind the rearview mirror. To reserve a parking space, contact the GBA Parking Office.
Hours of Operation
Level A of the #1 Parking Lot is open Monday-Friday from 6:00 AM-5:00 PM for visitors at a daily rate of $5.00. Monthly permit holders may park 24/7 on levels A & B. Levels C & D are open to permit holders from 6:00 AM-9:00 PM only. Parking facilities are closed on State Holidays. Events scheduled through the Georgia Building Authority may affect hours of operation.
Payment
The parking fee during the legislative session is $10 and unreserved year-round parking is available for $30. Legislators must submit a check or money order (payable to Georgia Building Authority) with the invoice no later than the first day of the session to receive their parking access. Please note parking spaces will not be assigned until GBA receives payment.
