Joy Forth joined the Georgia Building Authority in January 2008 as Mansion Director. She is responsible for the planning and execution of all events and tours at the Mansion, assists the First Lady with hospitality functions and oversees the maintenance and operations of the building and its collection of antique furniture and art.
Prior to joining the GBA, Ms. Forth served as Governor Sonny Perdue’s scheduler for five years and as Tennessee Governor Don Sundquist’s scheduler for five years. Ms. Forth spent eight years working for the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington with Congressman J. Roy Rowland and later Congressman Saxby Chambliss.
She graduated from the University of Georgia.
