April King joined GBA in February 2008 as the Chief Financial Officer. King comes to GBA with 19 years of experience in governmental accounting for the state of Georgia. She began her career with the Georgia Department of Audits and has since served in a variety of accounting and leadership roles within several state entities, most recently the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority as Deputy Commissioner of Administration.

King is a 1989 graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Management and obtained her CPA in August 1994.
