Paul Johnson joined The Georgia Building Authority (GBA) in April 2007 as the Director of Information Technology. Mr. Johnson comes to GBA with 8 years of IT management experience. Prior to coming to GBA, Mr. Johnson served as Technical Services Manager for Johnson Industries, a subsidiary of Genuine Parts Corporation, a Fortune 500 Company in Atlanta. As Technical Services Manager, Mr. Johnson supervised maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure which included 15 locations. He also spearheaded the strategic planning and development of performance measurements for the IT department. In his capacity as Director of IT, Mr. Johnson is also responsible for Information Systems in the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission Construction Division and the State Properties Commission.

Mr. Johnson is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
