Director of Accounting

Kathryn McGrady serves as the Accounting Director for the Georgia Building Authority. She started her career with the State in August 2000 as the first Accounting Manager for the newly created Georgia Regional Transportation Authority. Before accepting the position with GBA in 2011, Kathryn spent 6 years working with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

A native of Americus, Georgia, Kathryn moved to the Atlanta area after graduating with a BBA in Accounting from West Georgia College in 1983.

Kathryn is an active member of the Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where she serves as Chair of the Physical and Mental Health Committee. She loves to run and has completed a number of 5Ks and several half marathons.

Kathryn has one adult daughter and currently resides in Covington, GA.
