GBA Honored for Innovation
October 26, 2010 - The Georgia Building Authority received the Georgia Association of State Facilities Administrators (GASFA) Innovations Award at the association’s fall conference at Zoo Atlanta.
GBA was recognized for its Centralized Program Management Reporting system called GSTAT, which allows the GBA team to manage facilities, parking and access, information technology, planning and special projects.
GSTAT provides current management data from one simple and easily accessible source. At a glance managers can review dynamic reports to address customer issues and day-to-day operational efficiencies. GSTAT provides GBA management current information to gauge whether business functions are achieving desired results, both operational and strategically.
By using GSTAT to track and monitor strategic initiatives on a weekly basis, GBA ensures projects are progressing toward established goals. Readily available program data also facilitates in measuring the impact or outcome of previously implemented strategic initiatives. GSTAT provides GBA leadership with an executive dashboard with six dynamic charts to serve as a quick reference gauge for key program areas.
