Capitol Hill – Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations

Four charging stations are available on Capitol Hill for use by employees and visitors. The stations are located in the Capitol Parking Lot (next to Liberty Plaza). They are accessible to anyone with an Electric Vehicle (EV) by parking in one of the designated “green” spaces.

The EV rate for time usage is $1.50 per hour. The unit bills from time that you connect the plug to your vehicle until the charging plug is disengaged from the vehicle. The vehicle should be moved immediately after completing the transaction to free up the charging space. There is no additional fee for parking during the time that the vehicle is connected to the charger, only the billable time while plugged in to the charger.

Vehicles which use an EV Charging space without an active charging connection will receive a citation and be towed.
