S. Michael Howell
Michael Howell has twelve years of commercial real estate experience in the Atlanta market. After starting his career on the Tenant representation side, Michael joined Resource Real Estate Partners where he worked for over seven years focusing on Landlord representation for the leasing of low-rise and high-rise office buildings as well as campus style office parks. In 2011 Michael joined Lincoln Property Company (“LPC”) as Vice President of Office Leasing. He is the co-head of LPC’s office leasing team that is responsible for the leasing of a 7 million square foot office portfolio throughout Metro Atlanta. Additionally, Michael is a key member of the Peridot development team – a 58 acre, 1.2 million square foot, mixed-use development located in the North Fulton submarket and owned by MetLife Real Estate Investments. While at LPC, Michael has played a key role in the sourcing and strategic execution of new 3rd party assignments relating to leasing, management, receivership and dispositions. Throughout his career Michael has completed over 350 transactions valued at over $250 million.
Michael is a native of Atlanta and attended Marist High School before receiving a BBA in Real Estate from the University of Mississippi. Michael is a licensed Qualifying Broker in the State of Georgia and an active member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors. Professionally, Michael is involved in the Urban Land Institute, Young Council of Realtors and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. Michael is also active in the community and presently serves as the Chairman for the Ride to Cure Committee of the GA Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and in a leadership capacity for the local non-profit Second Saturdays.
